Dolly Parton is entering the coffee aisle with Cup of Ambition, a new signature brand created in partnership with sixth-generation U.S. roaster Community Coffee, officially announced on 11 June 2026 and set to debut at a flagship travel stop in Cornersville, Tennessee later this month, according to DollyParton.com. Inspired by her 1980 anthem “9 to 5,” the line launches with Light, Medium and Dark roasts and will roll out across multiple retail channels in the United States in 2026, Dolly Parton’s team stated.
“Inspired by Dolly Parton’s beloved anthem ‘9 to 5,’ Cup of Ambition is Dolly’s new signature coffee brand,” a post on Parton’s official social media accounts explained, announcing that customers can get a first taste of the three roast profiles at Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop opening on 24 June 2026 in Cornersville, Tennessee, as reported by CoffeeGeography.com. The travel stop is located off Interstate 65 at Exit 22, approximately one hour south of Nashville, according to Dolly’s official travel stop site, DollysTravelStops.com.
The coffee brand, co-developed with Community Coffee, places Parton alongside a growing roster of celebrities attaching their names to coffee products, a trend noted by Global Coffee Report and ARY News. Those outlets described Community Coffee as the number one family-owned coffee brand in the United States and framed the new partnership as part of a broader move by actors and influencers into branded coffee ventures.
Donna Saurage, third-generation owner of Community Coffee, said the collaboration aligned closely with the roaster’s identity. “Dolly embodies the same values Community Coffee was built on: hard work, warmth, and genuine connection. This partnership felt right from the very first conversation, and Cup of Ambition is something our family is truly proud and honored to put our name behind,” Saurage stated in comments published on DollyParton.com and MusicRow.com.
For Parton, the project connects directly to her own daily routine. “I’ve spent a lifetime workin’ 9 to 5, 5 to 9, and every hour in between! It takes a lot of energy to pursue your passion and navigate each day. That’s why I wanted to make a coffee that works just as hard,” she said in the official announcement on DollyParton.com, adding that she starts each morning “with a head full of dreams, a notepad full of ideas, and a cup or two of coffee.” She concluded that she hoped the coffee would “bring a smile with every sip” for drinkers tackling busy schedules or enjoying quieter moments.
The physical launchpad for Cup of Ambition is Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop, a new destination developed in partnership between Parton, her manager Danny Nozell, and Gregory H. Sachs, who has operated the Tennessean Travel Stop brand since 2017, according to DollyParton.com. The site will host the first public tastings of the coffee and also houses a coffee shop under the Cup of Ambition name, CoffeeGeography.com reported.
Beyond fuel and EV charging, the Cornersville travel stop includes a trucker’s lounge, a “Doggy Parton” dog park, a live music stage, custom merchandise, “DLY BBQ,” a full-service restaurant and bar, hot showers, laundry facilities and free Wi-Fi, according to AryNews.tv and DollysTravelStops.com. DollyParton.com stated that this is the first of many planned travel stop locations, positioning Cup of Ambition within a wider hospitality and retail concept connected to the artist’s brand.
The coffee itself is being positioned for broad distribution. To support this expansion, MusicRow.com reported that industry veteran Chip Johnson has been appointed Sales Director for Dolly’s Cup of Ambition, tasked with leading retail distribution for the new line developed with Community Coffee.
