U.S. drive-thru chain 7 Brew will launch its first-ever mobile app on 12 August 2026, adding digital ordering and loyalty functions across more than 800 locations in what company and trade sources describe as a major technological step in its rapid expansion.
According to the official launch announcement published via Business Wire on 5 August, the free app will be available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play and will allow guests to order ahead, track rewards, save and share favourites, rapidly reorder, find nearby stands, customise drinks, and access secret-menu items. Coverage from Global Coffee Report on 6 August described the move as a “new technological step” for the chain.
The app arrives after several years of fast unit growth. 7 Brew’s franchise disclosure document shows the brand grew from 24 stores at the start of 2023 to 604 at the start of 2026, reported by Restaurant Dive. The company now operates more than 800 locations in 38 U.S. states, according to its Business Wire release and Global Coffee Report, and the FDD projects 447 store openings in 2026, which Restaurant Dive noted would take the system past the 1,000-unit mark.
Digital infrastructure was upgraded ahead of the app rollout. A 28 October 2025 post from technology partner Cipe Solutions said 7 Brew’s IT team deployed a new point-of-sale system, loyalty platform, customer relationship management (CRM) tools, payment processor, and network equipment at more than 500 locations. Cipe Solutions listed Genius by Global Payments, Paytronix, Salesforce, Bounteous, Monks, and Granite Telecommunications among the vendors supporting the project.
Chief Marketing Officer Nick Chavez framed the new app as an extension of how the chain already serves guests at its predominantly drive-thru stands. In the Business Wire announcement, Chavez said, “We have created a mobile ordering app that is intended to be as personal and fun as the experience at our stands.” He added that the app “unlocks our secret menu for the first time, putting the power to customize and build over 20,000 possible drink combinations directly in the hands of our guests.”
Menu categories accessible through the app include coffee, 7 Brew Energy drinks, teas, lemonades, smoothies, shakes, and 7 Fizz sodas, according to the company release. Examples cited by 7 Brew include the Blondie Breve, Ocean Breeze 7 Brew Energy, and Pink Mermaid 7 Fizz Soda. The chain said every app order will be handcrafted and prepared fresh once guests arrive at the stand for pick-up.
The company’s loyalty scheme is also changing alongside the digital launch. Business Wire and Restaurant Dive both reported that 7 Brew Rewards members will earn 100 points per order and can redeem any-sized drink once they accumulate 1,000 points. The updated programme will also allow members to “bank” points towards exclusive merchandise and branded items for the first time.
To promote the app and refreshed rewards, 7 Brew plans a space-themed marketing campaign and a “Sip Your Way to 100K Points” promotion from 20 to 26 August, according to its launch release. During that week, one 7 Brew Rewards member will receive 100,000 points, which the company said could be exchanged for a 7 Brew-branded mini-fridge stocked with 7 Brew Energy, eight 7 Original Letterman Jackets, or free drinks weekly for almost two years.
Restaurant Dive reported that, based on the company’s FDD, only two 7 Brew stores lacked a drive-thru channel, and suggested the integrated mobile ordering and rewards app could help “supercharge” the brand’s existing growth trajectory by improving store-level sales and the volume and quality of consumer-preference data it collects.
7 Brew was founded in 2017, with the company’s Business Wire release listing Rogers, Arkansas, as its origin, while Global Coffee Report cited Roberts, Arkansas. Global Coffee Report also noted that the chain has been recognised on Yelp’s 2026 Fastest Growing Brands list as one of the fastest-growing coffee brands in the United States.
