Decaffeinated coffee means coffee beans had most of their caffeine removed before roasting, typically reducing the caffeine content by about 97% to 99%. While it is not zero, standard brewed decaf usually contains only around 3–15 mg per cup according to research. We investigate the exact caffeine levels and the methods used to achieve this reduction.
