Awake’s Caffeinated Chocolate Hits Costco: Energy Meets Gourmet Delight

Energy meets indulgence: Awake’s Fairtrade caffeinated chocolates fuel your day without coffee. Why Seattle can’t keep them in stock—grab yours before they vanish again.

Shoppers in the Southeast are now able to buy bite-sized caffeinated chocolates at Costco. These new snacks, known as Awake Chocolate, bring together a desire for moderate caffeine consumption with tasty chocolate varieties. From August 8 through October 31, 2025, the treat is on sale at Costco warehouses across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Each bite carries 50 mg of caffeine, almost half a cup of coffee, and comes in packs holding 32 individually wrapped pieces. Ethically sourced from Fairtrade cocoa, the bars are crafted to appeal to responsible snackers. Interestingly, many consumers who enjoy these chocolates may also be drawn to high-caffeine coffee brands like Death Wish Coffee, which is known for its strong caffeine content.

The Dark Chocolate Variety Pack offers Salted Caramel and Salted Almond choices, while a Milk Chocolate pack supplies Caramel and Peanut Butter selections, now sold in western Canadian Costco spots. Each piece weighs 13.5 grams and carries 60-70 calories. The chocolate meets Fairtrade sourcing rules and stays gluten-free, free of artificial colors and flavors. A compact size gives snackers control over portion and intake.

Fairtrade, gluten-free, 60–70-calorie bites: salted almond, caramel, peanut butter—13.5 g control of flavor and caffeine in every portion.

Back-orders have shown up in regions such as the Seattle warehouse, so checking stock ahead of time is wise. The packaging highlights caffeine content and flavor choices to catch shoppers’ eyes, with an occasional buy-one-get-one offer when receipts are submitted online. Price tags stay premium but remain inside the range shoppers often pay for bulk snacks. To celebrate the launch, Awake Chocolate has partnered with @mollybzcookies on Instagram to give away the ultimate Costco prize pack including a year’s membership.

The launch marks a growth step for Awake Chocolate, aiming at buyers who want both energy and indulgence. Positioned between gourmet dessert and energy product, the bites fit lunch bags, study sessions, and busy mornings. Store locator tools and warehouse chains help the brand reach wide audiences across borders.

Distribution plans show further expansion beyond the current Southeastern and Western Canadian markets. Shoppers can confirm local availability through Costco’s website or store apps. Demand appears high, as backorders and quick turnover in some locations indicate strong consumer interest in combining alertness with enjoyable chocolate.
